| Our beginnings were humble. Four Romney- cross sheep and two Shetland sheep. We now number over 60 sheep, Angora goats, Llama & Angora rabbits …. and that’s just the fiber animals. We leaned towards Shetlands as our primary sheep breed as they are small, manageable and produce a long, lustrous fleece. They also have wonderful personalities. We currently have many pure and mixed breed lambs for sale perfect for any hand-spinners flock.. We offer an endless variety of lengths and colors, textures and blends, sure to keep you coming back for more. Are yarns are both hand spun and mill spun and come in a rainbow of dyed colors or the natural colors of the animals who produced them. We sell our yarns, batts, rovings and raw fleeces along with our own fragrant, herbal, natural soaps and hand-dipped tallow candles at our farm on 52 Wales Road in Sabattus, Maine. Fiber Processing is done on our farm as well. Please come for a visit to discuss your fiber needs or find us at numerous Fiber Shows throughout the year. |
